General Genetic Corporation partners with physicians to provide clinically validated genetic testing with standardized reporting.
Our Methodology
All tests are performed in laboratories accredited to ISO 15189:2023 by the Lithuania National Accreditation Bureau (Ref. LA.09.002) using validated NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) platforms. We follow ACMG (American College of Medical Genetics) guidelines for variant classification.
Reporting Standards
- LOINC-coded results: All test reports include standardized LOINC codes for EMR integration
- ACMG variant classification: Pathogenic, likely pathogenic, VUS, likely benign, and benign
- Clinical interpretation: Each report includes clinical significance and recommended actions
- Turnaround time: Results delivered within the specified timeframe with status updates
Prescription Process
To order a genetic test for your patient:
- Write a prescription specifying the test and clinical indication
- Patient submits the prescription through our platform
- Our genetic counselor verifies the prescription and test selection
- Sample collection is arranged at the patient's convenience
- Results are delivered to both the patient and referring physician
